About
I’m Kaashyap, a Tech Lead at Microsoft working on digital co-workers for Copilot Studio: agents with their own user identities that can carry out tasks autonomously. Giving software its own account turns out to be the straightforward part.
My work includes orchestration, evals, and memory systems: coordinating what these agents do, checking whether they did it well, and helping them retain what matters. The aim is a useful colleague, rather than a very confident stranger who arrives every morning with no recollection of Tuesday.
I did my Bachelor’s at IIT Madras and my Master’s at Columbia University.
This site is where I write about what I’m building and learning: end-to-end project reports, experiments, paper notes, and the occasional debugging detour. The projects include the architecture choices, the results, and the parts that didn’t work, which tend to be the parts I learn from.
